Clarkston Farmers Market

The Clarkston Community Center hosts its monthly Farmers Market on Sunday, July 29, featuring local growers with fresh-picked produce at affordable prices. Held on the activity field at the Community Center, the market also includes prepared foods and craft vendors. The tomatoes are rolling in and the farmers market wants to help you to learn how to safely preserve them for later! When you buy tomatoes from a grower at market, bring them to the Welcome Tent to be entered in to a raffle for canning supplies, a recipe book, or a jar of tomato chutney! Our market chef will demo how to safely and easily can seasonal foods, and be available to answer your questions.  SNAP / EBT benefits accepted and doubled: $1=$2 at the market!

The Farmers Market is part of the Center’s extensive Food Security Program, which includes a Food Co-op, a Food Pantry Program, community gardens and a Community Supported Agriculture Program—all designed to offer the community access to nutritious, affordable food. Clarkston Farmers Market continues through October on the last Sunday of each month. Follow the Clarkston Farmers Market on Facebook to stay up to date with all of the market happenings!
