Author Talk: Stephen Carter

Stephen Carter’s new novel takes as its starting point an alternate history: President Abraham Lincoln survives an assassination attempt and two years later is charged with overstepping his constitutional authority both during and after the Civil War.  Carter is professor law at Yale University and he’s the author of a string of bestselling novels including ”New England White,” ”Palace Council” and Jericho’s Fall.”
