Anais Mitchell - Live at Eddie's Attic!

This event is part of our weekly “TenDollarTuesday” promotion! Doors will open at 6:30pm. Tickets will be $14 at the door.

Folk singer-songwriter, ANAIS MITCHELL, is anticipating her upcoming February release, “Young Man in America,” but it’s been quite a journey in between. Hugh Blumenfeld from Sing Out! Magazine describes her style, “Details are offered like clues or keys to the reality all of us sense is imminent and eternal beneath the surfaces of things.” The journey began in 2002, when she self-released her debut album and soon after released “Hymns for the Exiled,” on Waterbug Records. The album inspired Ani DiFranco who immediately signed on to release her next album, “The Brightness,” in 2007. In 2008, singer-songwriter, Rachel Ries, joined Mitchell on her 2008 EP, “Country,” and also collaborated again on “Hadestown.” The album features an incredible line-up of folk legends like Ani DiFranco, Justin Vernon, and Bon Iver.
