A Celtic Christmas - An Atlanta Tradition for 19 Years
Called “a rollicking yet reverent experience” by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta’s 19th Celtic Christmas concert features a cast of over 3 dozen of the region’s most cherished traditional musicians, singers and dancers, as well as several internationally acclaimed artists: Singer Mary Jane Lamond hails from Nova Scotia and is considered a leading exponent for Scottish Gaelic song. Cape Breton Island fiddler Wendy MacIsaac represents a long line of fiddlers with a refined yet earthy style that’s irresistibly danceable. And the irrepressible mirth maker & musician Joe Craven returns to Atlanta for his seventh Celtic Christmas.
