Volunteer Need: Meals picked up in heart of Decatur for routes in and around the city

How Often: one to two hours a day, any day Monday through Friday

 

Clothes Sorters

Intown Collaborative Ministries, 1085 Ponce de Leon Ave., Atlanta, 30306

Volunteer Need: help sort and stock clothes for Intown Clothes, which provides clothing for impoverished people

How Often: Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to noon

 

Academic Mentors

Volunteer Need: Volunteers needed to help tutor and mentor homeless children.

How Often: about once a week

 

Healthy Female Mentors/Running Coaches

Girls on the Run of Atlanta, various Atlanta locations

Volunteer Need: Coaches needed to teach girls, grades 3-8, healthy habits and help them train for a 5K race.

How Often: Meet twice a week for 10 weeks during either the spring or fall program
