Plans Shaping Up For Fourth of July in Avondale Estates

Decatur Patch will have a full list of activities being held this coming holiday weekend in Decatur and Avondale Estates, but for now, here's a preview of some items coming out of Avondale Estates:

The city of Avondale Estates still has a limited number of Fourth of July yard signs available. The price is $25.00 and all proceeds go towards the city's parade.

Two "Fourth of July" t-shirts are still available for purchase. Both are for women, size medium. $15.00 each. Stop by City Hall If you interested in purchasing.

Volunteers are still needed during the morning for the parade. Volunteers are needed to blow up balloons (with the help of a helium tank), hand out items, coordinate traffic and line up the participants. And organizers say volunteers who help in the morning will still have time to watch or participate in the actual parade itself. Continental breakfast will be available for the volunteers.
