New Business Openings in Avondale Estates

Avondale Estates welcomed two new businesses with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday:

• City Gate Dance Theater, 2864 Franklin St.: A non-profit, professional Contemporary Ballet Company and Classical Ballet Training School, City Gate's goal is to unite the community through arts and education. It offers a professional training program for students ages 10 to 18 looking to be nourished into a career of dance as well as a Children's Division for students age 5-10.

• One Three Sports and Fitness Training LLC, 32-A North Avondale Road: One Three Fitness is designed to educate, train and prepare clients with attainable nutrition and fitness goals, for a sustainable healthy lifestyle.
