Grab & Go: Lots of Variety and Things to Do!

Decatur Arts Fest is the main attraction this weekend around the local area, but there's also plenty of other things to do, too.

Where/When: Decatur Square, 100 E Court Square in downtown Decatur on Wednesday, May 4 from 12 noon to 1 p.m.

Why go: Hear the last in the Blue Sky Concert series at the community bandstand on the square.  This concert features children's music by Douglas Brake and the Sizzle Hiss Pop Band.

Why go: Celebrate Books Again's 10th anniversary. Any book in the store priced $30 and under is 40 percent off. The remaining stock is 30 percent off.

Why go: If you're not at the beach, join the public at this great outdoor festival that promises plenty to see and do for parents and kids all weekend long.

Where/When: , 308 Clairemont Ave., Decatur, on Saturday, May 28 from 9:40 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Why go: As part of Decatur Arts Festival, children up to ages 13 can enjoy arts and crafts, rock wall, inflatables, balloon designs, music by Eric Litwin, and more. The fun starts with a Wacky Parade.  Lineup begins at 9:40am at the corner of Commerce Drive and Church Street.  Decorate your stroller, wagon, bike, husband and kids and come show your spirit!
