Why go: Excellent and inexpensive all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast of scrambled eggs, crisp bacon, sausage, grits, pancakes, biscuits and gravy.

When/Where: Saturday, March 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Cafe, 134 New Street, in Decatur.

Why Go: To check out their BabySigns, YogaKids, Dance, Music, Spanish and even Mandarin classes, while learning about this cool new co-space for adults to work while kids get to play -- all under one roof in the East Decatur Station complex.

3. WINNONA PARK's GOT TALENT VARIETY SHOW

When/Where: Sunday, March 13, 2 p.m., at  (yes in Clairemont's Auditorium) in Decatur.

Why go: Watch your child's variety show, eat popcorn, and have some fun watching the talented students while supporting the school. 

Pricing:  $3 per person or $10 per family

Why Go: Your kids get to jump while you learn about a new school opening soon in Midtown. There will be food, art, music and more!

5. AUTHOR DOREEN CRONIN of "CLICK CLACK MOO" AT LITTLE SHOP of STORIES

When/Where: Tuesday, March 15 at 7 p.m., at  at 133 E. Court Square # A, in Decatur.

Why Go: Author Doreen Cronin will read from her latest book, "The Trouble With Chickens," and sign it for the kids.
