Why go: Supporting Doggie Harmony, The Marlay House will serve up food, music and drink and reminds patrons that they have a dog-friendly establishment, so bring those puppies with you to support this cause. Atlanta-favorite, Wesley Cook will entertain the masses as they dig deep for this non-profit.

REDUCE STRESS WITH YOGA

Why go: Get in on the 11th Annual DeKalb Medical Decatur Barbeque, Blues, & Bluegrass Festival by getting over to Harmony Park in Oakhurst. All proceeds will be funneled back into the Decatur community. Food by Community Q and Fox Brothers and the beer: Ranger IPA, New Belgium Seasonal, Mothership Organic Wit, and Fat Tire Timber Ale. Music by several bands, including: Will Scruggs, Flat Rock, Spanky and the Love Handles, Dappled Grays and Wasted Potential.

Join Paul Morgan of the www.rainharvestcompany.com we'll discuss the costs and logistics of implementing systems that will enable you to collect rain water, grey water, air conditioning condensate and/or ground water for outdoor use. Cisterns, tanks, pumps and filtration will be explained and made easy so that anyone can assemble their own system! We'll talk about what components to avoid and what components you can't do without.
