Why go: This conference will discuss the history of black men in an all male venue, with networking possibilities and more.

LEARN TAI JI TO HELP WITH DIABETES CONTROL

Where/When: , 2701 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur, Thursday, July 28, 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Why go: As part of these ongoing sessions, these classes are held in the Diabetes Education Center.  Beginning with simple warm-up exercises, you’ll go on to stationary movements called Qi Gong and finally a short Tai Ji form. Remember to wear loose, comfortable clothing and good supportive shoes. You should bring water and a snack, if needed.
