Why go: It’s not too late to see this show, the story of a fictional meeting of Albert Einstein, Pablo Picasso and a host of crazy characters at the Lapin Agile in Paris.

SUPPORT GREENING FORWARD, BY SINGING GREEN

Where/When: 707 East Lake Dr., #B, Decatur, Saturday, November 5, doors open at 8 p.m., the show starts at 9 p.m.

Why go: This event is a fundraiser for Greening Forward, with musical performances by Emily Kate Boyd, Troy Bieser (of Telegram), Hannah Thomas and poet Christian Collier. These performances are appropriate for teenagers, young adults and the hip older crowd. For more information: www.greeningforward.org.

LEARN MORE ABOUT HEALTHY COMFORT FOODS

Why go: Join Chef Tony Carollo, as he teaches you how to build deep flavor and texture into hearty soups for the colder months. Students will cook and sample a variety of soups, and you’ll leave with recipes.
