Why go: Three Atlanta’s rock musicians, Jeff Blanks, Matthew Trautwein and Matthias Young, join forces as The Prestige and perform classical music written or transcribed for the guitar.  Light hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Why go: The Atlanta-based singer/songwriter/bandleader has released a new album, Light You Up, and gone through some major personal changes, including having his first child in 2009. He's co-written many new songs, too.

When/where: 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at , 133 Sycamore St., Decatur.

Why go: This basic swing class will cover the six-count patterns in Swing Dancing. Sometimes called “East Coast Swing,” six-count swing is a versatile partner dance done to classic Swing-Era music, Rockabilly, and many other types of dance music. Swing 101 is recommended as a starting-place for those who are new to swing dancing.

Why go: Shana Corey, author of Here Come the Girl Scouts! The Amazing All-true Story of Juliette "Daisy" Gordon Low and Her Great Adventure will be at Little Shop.  The story tells of how the Girl Scout program began because of one young girl's adventurous and determined spirit. If your Girl Scout troop would like to attend, please email us!

Why go: The Underground Theatre presents the Broadway hit comedy Mary, Mary, a warm and witty portrayal of a marriage gone hilariously awry. In this sparkling romantic comedy by Jean Kerr, a nearly-divorced couple meet over taxes, and sparks fly all over again. Marriage, divorce, taxes, health and fitness, sex — all are subjects of fun in this irreverent comedy.
