Expert On Paint For Historic Houses To Speak At Old House Fair

Event will be held Feb. 18 in the renovated Courtyard Marriott.

Speakers have been announced for the Feb. 18 Old House Fair in Decatur.

Roger W. Moss has taught in the Historic Preservation Program at The University of Pennsylvania and is "widely considered one of America’s leading authorities on paint for historic buildings," according to the fair's website.

Aother speaker will be Jodi Marks, an HGTV personality and co-host of Today’s Homeowner on 11Alive.

The Old House Fair will be held in the , which used to be the Holiday Inn on Clairmont in downtown Decatur, at 130 Clairemont Ave. The Old House Fair will be one of the first events for the newly renovated hotel.

The Old House Fair is a day-long seminar/conference on how to care for older homes.
