Decatur's 1st Root Beer Festival Saturday

While the big people go to the Decatur Craft Beer Festival, the kids will be having fun at the Little Shop of Stories.

There are two beer festivals in Decatur Saturday, and one of them is sold out. That would be the .

But $5 tickets are still available for the Decatur Root Beer Festival, to be held nearby at the on the Decatur Square.

You can go from 2 to 3 p.m. or 3 to 4 p.m. The shop will provide eight root beers and four other kinds of drinks, such as Jones Cream Soda.

Tickets include a commemorative glass (actually a plastic cup.) This is the shop’s first root beer festival. Proceeds will benefit , the citywide reading project put together by the Little Shop of Stories.
