Decatur Graduates Eight From Leadership DeKalb

Ten-month program focused on major issues in the area.

Eight Decatur residents and public and private officials were among the 52 graduates who recently completed the Leadership DeKalb Class of 2011.

The 10-month program was designed to educate DeKalb County leaders on the issues facing the region.

  • Amin Bhatia, director of corporate services for ;
  • Tom Crawford, vice president of human resources for ;
  • John Dutko, vice president of SBA lending for ;
  • Tres Indermark, owner and president of Howard Indermark, P.C. Attorney At Law;
  • Cornell McBride, president of McBride Research Laboratories;
  • Peter Michelson, CEO of Renewal Design Build;
  • Sue Schroeder, artistic director of Several Dancers Core; and
  • Garrick Scott, president of the National Federation of the Blind of Georgia.

Comprised of an influential group of ethnically and culturally diverse leaders in DeKalb County, the Leadership DeKalb Class of 2011 included representatives from business, healthcare, education, social service agencies and government.
