Decatur Farmer's Market Celebrates 10 Years

The Decatur Farmer's Market celebrates 10 years of providing locally grown goodness on Wednesdays.

The is marking its 10th anniversary of Wednesday markets today from 4 to 7 p.m. at 163 Clairemont Avenue in the parking lot for the Bank of America.

Bring the kids for balloon animals and face painting, learn about the Decatur Farm to School program or enjoy some Tinks Beef burgers and beer while you browse.

There will also be a silent auction to benefit Wholesome Wave, which helps those who use EBT to get a great deal on food from the market. Check out a list of the prizes here: they range from knitted scarves to getaways to a private beer tasting at the . The auction will also be during their Saturday market--this week marks the second anniversary of Saturdays.
