Decatur Bus Lines Rerouted for City's 4th of July Celebration

MARTA will be re-routing bus lines 2, 15, 19 and 123 from the Decatur station for the city's 4th of July celebration, and the transit provider is advising riders to purchase a round-trip ticket when they depart, to avoid long return lines on the way home.

MARTA also will be operating a Sunday bus schedule on the 4th.

For Decatur residents running in the Peachtree Road Race, MARTA is advising they take the gold line to Lenox station for a quicker trip to the starting line.  Customers can also take the red line to Buckhead station.   

The race will end at the Midtown station.
