Yes, it will be hot again. There are meetings tonight at Oakhurst Elementary and Avondale Estates City Hall.

Good morning, Decatur and Avondale Estates. Here are 5 things you need to know about today, June 25.

Steamy Monday. The week starts off with a high around 93 degrees and a 20 percent chance of rain. Sunrise is at 6:29 a.m. and sunset at 8:52 p.m. Highs will be around 90 Tuesday before rising a few degrees for the rest of the week.

Oakhurst Elementary meeting. The school system administration will talk about planned renovations at the school. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. Parents are invited.

Avondale Estates City Commission. The commission meets twice today -- at 10 a.m. for a second reading of the city millage rate (unchanged from last year) and at 7:30 p.m. for a regular meeting. The budget will probably be adopted at the second meeting.

. Sam Bracken battled homelessness, poverty and abuse to earn a full-time football scholarship to Georgia Tech. At 7:15 p.m., he'll talk at the Decatur Library auditorium about his memoir, My Orange Duffel Bag: A Journey to Radical Change.

Campus security conference. Agnes Scott College is hosting a conference on how to make college campuses safe for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer/Questioning (LGBTQ) students. The keynote speaker for the Georgia College Personnel Association meeting is Jessica Pettitt, a diversity educator.
