"Spring Into Spanish" Classes for Families

"Spring Into Spanish" classes for families, held in downtown Decatur, begin in less than two weeks.  A few spaces remain for family classes and drop-off classes.  Online registration is now open.  These fun, immersion-style lessons for children and their care-takers are taught by Miche Baskett, a former Spanish teacher in the City Schools of Decatur and Decatur Presbyterian Children’s Community.  Señora Baskett, a Decatur mom with two kids in City Schools of Decatur, has over fifteen years experience writing curriculum and teaching Spanish to young children.

The classes include games, music, movement, literature, and more.  Students have access to a small library of Spanish-language books and receive take-home activities to support the lessons.
