RGB Technology Training Center Offers Free Microsoft Office Training Classes to the Unemployed

Saturday May 10, 2014 (ATLANTA, GA) –– RGB Technology Training Center (RGB), a professional training organization, is offering Workforce Investment Act approved free training classes to unemployed Atlanta residents. Located in Avondale Estates, RGB offers computer training, professional development, certification and job placement assistance in customer service and office administration. Through Microsoft Certified Instructor led training, unemployed students will gain mastery of computer desktop software applications such as Access, Excel, FrontPage, Outlook, PowerPoint, Windows and Word.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Atlanta’s unemployment rate currently stands at 7 percent. RGB Technology Training Center plans to improve Atlanta’s unemployment rating by offering classes that are designed to develop the students’ technical skill set to be competitive in today’s job market. The organization is also partnering with staffing agencies and human resource managers throughout Metro Atlanta to help students secure employment after they receive their certification.

“We are excited to do our part in improving Atlanta’s unemployment rate,” said Renee Gipson, founder of RGB Technology Training Center. “We have developed wonderful partners and have great resources to get Atlantans back to work.”
