Local kids to star on professional stage!

Atlanta Shakespeare, Neighbor

Local Decatur students ages 7-15 have been diligently working to produce two Shakespeare plays during the Atlanta Shakespeare Company's Shakespeare Superheroes camp, hosted at the Atlanta Friends Meeting House in Decatur. This Friday, nineteen students will perform their work on a professional stage at the Shakespeare Tavern theater in Midtown. After two weeks of learning and direction from professional actors, the students will present different scenes and monologues from Shakespeare's As You Like It and Henry V.

The performance begins at 12:00 pm this Friday, July 19th on the Atlanta Shakespeare Company main stage, located at 499 Peachtree St NE Atlanta, GA 30308. For more information, please call (404) 874-5299.
