Recently Kathie Gannon appeared in Avondale Estates to show her face for a new fire station. All well and good until you realize what a mess she has made in that immediate area. She sought after and pushed through overlay zoning for that area. It has destroyed any private development there of new homes or anything else. She actually stated in the meetings for the overlay development that it was her goal to do just that - kill development. It worked. So you must admit that being a willful loser is a workable goal.
In the meantime Gannon smugly resides comfortably in the 335 Ponce building in Decatur. And unaffected by the areas outside of Decatur. She needs to lose her seat on the Board of Commissioners.
Or Decatur needs to lose its city charter and be brought back into the real world of Dekalb County
