Free family event - Fairies!

Don’t miss the return of the Fairy Gardens on Sunday, October 20, 2-5pm.  Woodlands is pleased to partner again with the talented folks at Skyland Trail for this very special event.

For the third annual Fairies in the Garden programming will expand.  Skyland Trail clients will again erect intricate tiny houses along the trails.  Colonies will include root fairies, stump fairies, fortress fairies and of course trolls under the bridge. Jeff Barnes, the music therapist from Skyland Trail, will host special events in a tent on the meadow.  There will be bells and drums, performances by staff and clients, musical parades through the woods, and perhaps a summoning of the fairies.  Music in the Pavilion will be very special and fairy-like.

Parking in the Garden is limited, so walk, ride your bike, or park at Westchester School (758 Scott Boulevard).  Fairy costumes encouraged!
