Big Tex Decatur Spring Block Party Saturday

Big Tex Decatur is teaming up with sister restaurants Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q and Smith’s Olde Bar to kick off the spring season with a Block Party on Saturday, March 15.

Instead of the traditional St. Patrick’s Day celebration with green beer and cover charges, Big Tex Decatur’s Spring Block Party offers live music that rivals any festival, finger licking good food, and cold brews from Corona and Corona Light.

Doors open at noon with music kicking off at 1 p.m. on the outside stage with the Codey Bearden Band, followed by Ralph Roddenberry and later the High Strung String Band. Up next at 4:30 p.m. is The Bluefields followed by Dangermuffin at 5:30 p.m. When Dangermuffin is finished rocking, the party heads inside for a late night set with Copious Jones starting at 9 p.m.
