All About Developmental Disabilities Offers April Workshops

All About Developmental Disabilities (AADD) will host several events in April, including a series of workshops through their Family Support Center in Decatur (125 Clairemont Ave, Suite 300, Decatur, GA 30030). Each workshop will help families living with developmental disabilities learn more about a specific issue, including dating and special needs trusts.

AADD’s Family Support Center (FSC), designed to serve individuals and families living with developmental disabilities in metro Atlanta and across Georgia, offers assistance during various life transitions.

April events include:

Dating, Relationships and Sexuality, Part 2
A brief presentation on how parents can talk to their young adults about dating and sexuality and the importance of relationships, followed by a Q&A.

Self-Direct Discussion Group
For people who are already using self-direct services and those interested in beginning. We’ll address topics like how to get changes made, where to find staff, and how to find agencies who will work with the self-direct services reimbursement program.
