Curious George is coming to Decatur

Mark your (and your little ones') calendars for THIS Saturday morning at 10 a.m.! Come be curious with the famous lttle monkey and friends...

Yes, it's true. Curious George really is coming to Decatur. This Saturday morning (Sept. 22) from 10 a.m. to Noon, the Dekalb County Library will be hosting a birthday celebration for Curious George creator H.A. Rey.

The celebration is being billed as "Curiosity Day," and attendees are invited to come and meet Curious George in person and have your picture taken with him. There will also be storytelling and the opportunity to create Curious George-inspired crafts. This promises to be a super-fun event that is perfect for Curious George enthusiasts and families with children of all ages.

This is a FREE event, which is being held at First Baptist Church Decatur (308 Clairemont Ave., Decatur, GA 30030) in Carreker Hall.

Don't miss out! I wonder if there will be a look-alike contest...? Thinking out loud here... where is the girls' monkey costume? And I know I have a big yellow hat somewhere. Wonder if hubby would wear it? Hmmm...the wheels are turning...
