Join in the holiday festivities - Boy Scout Troop 6 will be serving hot chocolate and cookies beginning at 6:00pm, the Avondale First Baptist Church begins caroling at 6:30pm and the Christmas tree lighting will follow. Cider and donuts will be served at 7:00pm.
And of course, don't miss Santa Claus appearing to officially ring in the Christmas season.
This is a rain-or-shine event. Tents will be set up in the case of inclement weather.
Canned goods will be collected at the event for Decatur Emergency Assistance Ministry (DEAM).
