Tyler Perry Filming at Agnes Scott

A large film crew descended on Agnes Scott College on Thursday as filmmaker Tyler Perry shot scenes for his movie "Single Moms Club."
Perry directed scenes in Presser Hall. Students strolled past wardrobe racks and equipment carts as they made their way to classes.
He's also obtained permits to shoot at the Fidelity Bank building in Decatur on Dec. 16 and 17, said Katie Abel at Decatur City Hall.
Perry filmed scenes last week at the Waffle House in Avondale Estates, a house on Lake Avondale and the Allen Wilson Apartments in Decatur.
The website www.movieweb.com says the movie is about single mothers forced to come together after an incident at their children's school. The movie will star Perry, Nia Long, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Zulay Henao and William Levy
Lionsgate will distribute the movie, which is expected in theaters May 9, 2014.

We didn't talk to him but we did get photos of him when he was filming at the Waffle House last week.

Actually he's mostly in Buttrick Hall (which is what is shown in the photo). so far no photos of him that I've seen from on campus.

Tyler Perry's film is causing a serious disruption of campus life. It may be exciting to be around a film set, but at the same time, the campus is home to around 850 women who pay a good amount of money to attend this $43,000 institution of higher education. The campus is not a film set and if the administration wants to profit off of films, they should have the decency to recognize that finals start next week but students are preparing now. It's inconvenient to be told to "shh" by a crew member when you are talking about an assignment with a friend on your way to class because they are shooting in the main academic building. It's not acceptable that commuter students are having trouble finding parking on campus and when they do find parking, they have to walk all the way around to get to the parking deck because of a scene being shot. It's not okay that half of the dining hall is cut off during breakfast because the extras need some place to eat and store their costumes. The college closes on the 19 so the production crew could have been understanding and started shooting later and not during a key part of the semester.

You are so right! As much as I love his work Tyler Perry should of waited for Christmas break. I know if my child was going there I would of been upset. He probably didn't think of it but someone should of like administration!

Well, since you most likely are millions of other students nationwide are also getting some sort of Grant money which is free from the government when change happens to your everyday lifestyle you want to complain, what would happen working in the real world if you'd complain like this, you would lose your job or be replaced, I just graduated from a private college and schools do with what they want to do without concern of the student body adjustments they must make, so all your wishes are in vain.
