If you didn't get enough of "The Phantom Tollbooth" during Decatur's citywide reading project, you can enjoy a staged production later this month at Emory University.
Starving Artist Productions, Emory's student-run theatre group, will perform the story Feb. 23-25 at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. and Feb. 29-March 3 at 7:30 p.m.
"The Phantom Tollbooth" is about a bored boy named Milo who drives through a tollbooth one day and finds himself in a magical and mysterious land.
Decatur adopted "The Phantom Tollbooth" by Norton Juster as for the citywide reading project, On the Same Page.
Reading groups, school classes and even soccer teams read and discussed the book. The celebration was capped with a visit by Juster in December.
At Emory, all the shows will be in the Burlington Road Building Black Box Theater at 1804 N. Decatur Road.
Tickets are $6, $4 for students. To reserve tickets, email sapboxoffice@learnlink.emory.edu.
