Decatur Pizza Man Carjacked
The Domino's deliveryman said one of the robbers pulled a pistol.
This information comes from Decatur police reports.
A Domino's deliveryman told Decatur police that two men -- one armed with a pistol -- stole his car Monday night.
The deliverman said he parked his 2005 Hyundai Elantra behind the condo buildling at 423 Clairemont Ave. about 10 p.m., got out of the car and began gathering his schoolbooks and other things.
A car drove into the lot. Two men walked up and one pulled a handgun and pushed it into the deliveryman's abdomen. They demanded his possessions and one man knocked his glasses off his face.
The deliveryman said he ran to the condo building. The robbers got into his car and followed a light-colored SUV out of the parking lot and north on Clairemont.
Listed as stolen were the car worth about $5,000, an iPad worth $700 and a laptop worth $2,300.
The robbers were described as black males with athletic builds, 5-foot-10 to 6 feet in height. One pulled a white T-shirt up to cover his lower face and the other wore a red hat.
