Decatur Farmers Market Switching to Winter Hours

The market will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Bank of America parking lot at Church and Commerce.

The Decatur Farmers Market is switching to winter hours today.

The Wednesday market operates from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Bank of America parking lot at 163 Clairemont Ave. between Clairemont and Church Street, one block north of the Decatur Marta station and Ponce de Leon Ave. (The old hours were 4-7 p.m.)

Come celebrate Halloween at the market. We will have treats for the kids, face painting, games and fiddle music.

This the final week to get your coupon book for local restaurants and markets if you bring a friend to the market who has never been before. It is worth up to $125.00

Native Seafood will have Atlantic shrimp again today.

Tink's Grassfed beef
will be at market with beef and pork. I am getting a pork belly to make bacon with. You should too.

Mercier Orchards will have apples and apple cider today.

The Little Tart is coming to market today with their scrumptious baked goods!

Cakes and Ale will have hot coffee and yummy food today.

Johnston Dairy will be bringing  milk and cheeses.

Tia's Chia will be bringing chia based gluten free goodies.

Zocalo will have salsas and tamales.

Hidden Springs farm will have local honey and eggs.

Simply Scrumptious is baking some scrumptious baked goods.

Farmers, farmers, farmers with flowers, greens, beans, winter squashes, sunchokes, okra, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, carrots, onions, lettuce, and more fine locally grown  organic produce.

Capra Gia Goat Cheese Co. will have cheese and eggs and raw goat milk.

Paradise Found Farm is planning on coming with their lovely pestos.

Nazifa's Bakery will be bringing tasty hummus, tabbouleh, Baklava, falafel, samosas, kebab rolls and other delights.

Alta Cucina will be not at market today.

Magnolia Bread Co. will have delicious organic breads.

Anisa's Secret will be joining us with their lovely seasoning blends and salts.

The Saturday market is held at West Trinity Place and North McDonough Street, near Decatur High, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
