DeKalb CEO: Burrell Ellis will face two opponents in the July 31 Democratic primary. Gregory Adams and Jerome Edmondson have qualified to run for that office.

DeKalb County Commission: District 1 Incumbent Elaine Boyer is being challenged by Republican Larry Danese this November, while District 4 incumbent Sharon Barnes-Sutton has drawn two opponents in the July 31 Democratic primary, Steve Bradshaw and Clyburn Halley.

In District 6, Democrat incumbent Lee May is being challenged in the primary by Gina Mangham, Kenneth Samuel and Andre White. And District 6 incumbent Kathie Gannon has drawn primary opposition from Edmond Richardson.

State Senate District 42: Incumbent Jason Carter has drawn GOP opposition this November. Retired educator Kenneth Brett Quarterman is seeking unseat Carter.

T-SPLOST: This July 31 vote will give voters in 10 metro counties a chance to approve or reject $8.5 billion in transportation improvements through a one-percent sales tax.
