Carter's Grandson Aided Romney Video Release

James Carter IV admits 'satisfaction' over the controversial development.

The grandson of former president and Georgia governor Jimmy Carter arranged for the release of the controversial video of GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, according to media reports.

WSB-TV and others have reported that James Carter IV of Dunwoody tracked down the person who did the hidden-camera video of Romney, then leaked it to the magazine Mother Jones.

-- Do you agree with the motive of Carter IV in releasing the Romney video? Tell us in the comments below.

The video has gone viral. It was secretly taped at a fundraiser in Florida. Romney told attendees that 47 percent of Americans “believe they are victims” and that the government should provide for them.

James Carter IV told WSB that Romney’s remarks fit the image that Democrats are trying to portray.

“One of them is he's this out of touch rich guy.  Another one he doesn't care about the middle class,” Carter said.

Carter IV said Jimmy Carter, a Democrat who was president from 1976-80 and governor from 1970-74, congratulated him on his involvement in the video’s release.

Carter IV, who is an unemployed opposition researcher, said he has received  job offers since the video's release.

is that a double cool-aid you're drinking? Mr. Romney is mistaken. I would not vote for him for love nor money, but I work hard and pay my taxes. A good majority of college educated people, including most educators, also poll decidedly against him. On the other hand, if it's true that he didn't pay any taxes for 10 years, you gotta wonder who Mitt's planning to vote for.

No Ms. Teachers' Union; it isn't double cool-aid. The fact that most educators are voting against Romney, if that is true, would be just another indication of the complete breakdown in the quality of our educators as they support the federal government's sharp left turn toward neo-fascism. Mr. Carter must be ecstatic that, in Obama, America finally has found a President whose incompetence in both domestic and foreign policy has overshadowed his Grandfather's. Given 4 more years of this Obamanation, inflation and interest levels will exceed the 20% levels his grandaddy achieved.

Taking pot shots at educators is unnecessary and boring!

As I was told at a very young age..sometimes the more educated there is less common sense. At my age now 60 I have found that to be true. There are many book smart people but common sense eludes them. Carter is just like the old Carter...not quite able to see the whole picture.

How about the comment from Obama in the last election about those who cling to their Bibles and their guns? How about the comment from Obama to the Russian President about being "more flexible" after the election? How about Obama's comment that he believes in "redistribution"? Funny how the lame media giants spin every possible comment from Romney and brush Obama's mistakes under the rug. Even this "news source". Wonder why we haven't heard anything here about those comments from Obama. It's a real mystery........
