African Dance Company Performs at Library For Black History Month
Renfroe Middle students will hold a Black History celebration Tuesday.

When/where: Feb. 28, 7-8 p.m., at the Decatur Library, 215 Sycamore St., Decatur.
The event: Musical Bookings and Diversity in DeKalb "One County Many Voices" present The Manga African Dance Company in celebration of Black History Month. This dance troop's high-energy repertoire includes dances and rhythms from Ghana, Senegal, Guinea, Liberia, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Africa and Niger. Renfroe Middle School Black History Celebration
When/where: Feb. 28, 7 p.m., at Decatur High School, 310 N. McDonough St., Decatur.
The event: An evening to explore and celebrate "change" that African Americans have contributed to our nation and the world through a collection of performances by Renfroe Middle School students. Come see a performance by the RMS chorus and jazz bands as well as multiple skits by Renfroe students.
