1. Weather. Partly sunny with highs in the low 90s, lows in the mid 70s and a 20-30 percent chance of rain. Repeat Saturday and Sunday.

2. Lowest gas prices. Late Thursday, the lowest price in the Decatur and Avondale Estates area was $3.35 per gallon at the Citgo at 4274 Covington Highway. Prices may chance at any time, so check the Patch gas widget to find the best deal.

3. . If you don't vote today, you'll have to wait until Election Day -- Tuesday July 31. You can vote today from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Clark Harrison Building at 330 W. Ponce de Leon Ave. in Decatur and at the central Elections Office on Memorial Drive and locations in South DeKalb, Chamblee, Tucker and Lithonia.

4. . Take this life-saving instruction at 9 a.m. Saturday at 509 N. McDonough St., Decatur. The class costs $50.

5. On this date. In 1974, the House Judiciary Committee voted 27-11 to recommend President Richard M. Nixon's impeachment on a charge that he had personally engaged in a "course of conduct" designed to obstruct justice in the Watergate case.
