Private Bank of Decatur promotes Marzette

Private Bank of Decatur continues its growth and expansion with the promotion of Juanita Marzette. The bank promoted Marzette to Branch Manager and Banking Officer from Personal Banker.

“In the short time since we opened our doors Juanita has excelled at any task we have requested of her, and does so not only with the high-touch service approach that exemplifies our bank, but also with an energetic can-do spirit,” says Private Bank of Decatur President Judy Turner. “That made her a natural for this role as we grow the bank.”

Marzette previously worked with Turner at BankSouth and Decatur First Bank, and notes that, given technology, banking can now be done from just about anywhere, but says customers still want the personal relationships, which she enjoys building. When not at the bank, the Selma, Alabama-native enjoys restoring furniture and doors, as well as making and selling blankets, scarves and totes. She and her husband have three sons and reside in Snellville.

“I pride myself on providing ‘old-school customer service,’ knowing the customer and meeting their needs with tailored solutions,” Marzette says.

Private Bank of Decatur brings a private banking approach to all clients across all functions of the bank. It is a division of Private Bank of Buckhead, which is designated a Preferred Lender by the U.S. Small Business Administration and includes a dedicated mortgage solutions unit, Private Mortgage Services. Both the SBA and mortgage facets are represented in Decatur.
