Congratulations to Drew who was chosen as Georgia Soccer Girls Rec Coach of the year.  Here he is in a photo with Kathy Myer-Frisbey from the Decatur-DeKalb YMCA who have instrumental in helping with the soccer program at ICS and other schools.  As Drew quoted, "This is really not about me it is really about Decatur-DeKalb YMCA soccer program".  This might be true but multiple people wrote to nominate Drew for this honor and made it clear that Drew is exactly the kind of coach that Georgia Soccer esteems as a role model and an inspiration.  Nominations for Drew came from coaches as well as from parents.  Among the comments we received was this one: “ I have been fortunate to see first hand how Drew inspires not only his own students, but also others interested in learning soccer.  He is passionate about soccer and his enthusiasm for it is contagious.”  Thank you Coach Drew and thank you Decatur-DeKalb YMCA!
