The Decatur Cooperative Ministry is seeking event planning volunteers to help with the Garden of Eatin': A Taste of Decatur, which will held on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Decatur YMCA at 1100 Clairemont Ave.

Committee volunteers are asked to commit to participating in five planning meetings (1.5 hours each), plus attending and/or volunteering on event day.

The Garden of Eatin' is a family-oriented event that brings together more than 20 Decatur-area restaurants, local entertainers, businesses, and 500 guests all to benefit Decatur Cooperative Ministry (DCM) and its programs to alleviate and prevent homelessness.
