I'm not sure just what history this DeKalb history outfit is interested in. My house sits on top of the ridge that was occupied when northern occupation was clearing out what was left of Henderson Mill. I have the remnants of a cannon embankment. (the stone lined dugout where the cannon was mounted on the hill). Next door is a large lined dugout where the solders either blanketed in or kept goods. I contacted the DeKalb History Center and was informed with "that's nice" and that "there are a lot of occupied reminders around the old mill site". I guess I forgot to offer some wine and crackers,or cheese. So I wonder if this is run by the same noses that run the stuffing fernbank outfit. Anyway folks..DeKalb history is all around. You are probably sitting or standing on it right now.
