Gas South, Georgia’s fastest growing natural gas provider since 2008, is now providing discounted rates on natural gas service to DeKalb County residents and businesses.

Home to more than 690,000 residents, DeKalb is the first county to establish this partnership with Gas South. As a community energy provider, Gas South has similar programs with electric membership corporations (EMCs) and municipalities across Georgia and has helped thousands of customers save over $3 million to-date.

DeKalb County has partnered with Gas South to offer a discount of two cents per therm on all standard rates when residents sign up for service or register their existing Gas South accounts. The discount continues for as long as they remain Gas South customers. Gas South also offers a discount on the connection fee for DeKalb residents looking to establish a new account.  Special, customized rates also are available from Gas South for businesses and large commercial customers in DeKalb County.
