American Legion Auxiliary Unit 66's Elves at the VA Hospital Christmas Gift Shop

For a week, the elves of American Legion Auxiliary Decatur Unit 66 helped select and wrap gifts for the families of 400+ inpatients at the Atlanta VA Medical Center during their yearly Christmas Gift Shop. Metro Atlanta ALA units donated the items and staffed the gift shop. Patients who were ambulatory came to the shop and chose gifts for their families; unit members went to the wards of those who were not ambulatory and were their personnal shoppers.
